Accessibility

Practice should belong to every body and every mind.

Hymalayas is built to meet and exceed the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines on the web, and to honour every accessibility setting iOS exposes — Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, Reduce Motion, and the full Smart Invert and colour-filter palette — inside the app.

What we commit to

  • Reduce Motion. Every animation on the website and inside the app respects prefers-reduced-motion. The orb still breathes, but it does so quietly.
  • Dynamic Type. Every screen scales up to the largest accessibility text size without clipping or layout loss.
  • VoiceOver. Every interactive element has a meaningful label. Sanskrit words are also pronounced in their romanised form for screen readers.
  • Colour contrast. The plum-and-amber palette maintains a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text everywhere on the site.
  • Keyboard navigation. Every page works without a mouse, including the waitlist modal.

Where we fall short — tell us

Accessibility is never finished. If something on this site or inside the app is hard to use, tell us — we will fix it. Write to [email protected] and put Accessibility in the subject line. We read every message.
